It makes it much easier and affordable because the walls are already insulated and ready for drywall whereas cement foundation walls have to be built on the inside and insulated therefore costing more and taking up more usable space in your basement. Building times are decreased with a wood foundation speeding up the home building process. It's C.S.A approved P.W.F studs and sheathing, caulking and plastic that combine to create a low moisture and warmer basement than a cement foundation.

They have been experimented on for over 50 years by the Canadian and U.S governments along with scientists and researchers and have been approved by the national building code of Canada. Also cement and wood foundations have been through many stress tests for strength of the foundation and a wood foundation lasted 5 years longer before any repairs were required.
